PC System Requirements

  • Windows‚ 9x, NT 4.0, 2000 (USB support for webcams)
  • Pentium Processor (in general a minimum of 133 MHz)
  • Internet connection with IP address
  • 32 MB RAM or more (recommended)
  • 100 MB hard disk space
  • 28.8 Kbps (minimum) modem, LAN, Cable, or ISDN connection
  • To send video
    • Digital video camera (serial, parallel, USB, FireWire)
    • Standard analog video with video capture card
  • To send and receive audio
    • Microphone or headset
    • Speakers or headphone/headset
    • 16 bit sound card and drivers

MACINTOSH System Requirements

  • Mac OS System 7.6 or later
  • PowerPC processor (a minimum of 100 MHz)
  • 32 MB RAM or more (recommended)
  • 100 MB of hard disk space
  • Internet connection with IP address
  • 28.8 Kbps (minimum) modem, LAN, Cable, or ISDN connection
  • PPP for dial-up connection
  • To Send Video
    • digital camera (webcam); or
    • desktop video camera and video capture card
    • FireWire camera and Mac
  • To Send Audio
    • microphone
  • To Receive Audio:
    • Built-in speaker, or optional external speakers or headphones/headset
