Conference Sponsorships

Would your organization like to reach law school technology decision-makers and early-adopters? Then a table at CALI's Conference for Law School Computing is one of the best and most cost-effective ways.

Please contact Austin Groothuis for a list of opportunities and pricing (312-906-5303 or agroothuis@cali.org) if your organization is interested in sponsoring our conference in June of 2010 at Rutgers Law School in Camden.

In addition to table space, we offer several creative opportunities to increase your visibility at the conference. Take a look at a few of our past sponsors as well as our 2009 sponsors.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:

CALI, a nonprofit organization (www.cali.org), hosts the Conference for Law School Computing at a different member law school each year. It is the only conference designed to bring tech-savvy law school faculty, librarians, and IT professionals together for a discussion of ideas and issues surrounding law school innovation. CALI has hosted the conference for 19 years, and over the last five years it has averaged over 350 attendees.

Our attendee list is full of early-adopters who are eager to learn how your technologies and innovations can improve their law schools. Law Professor Richard Leiter's blog quote demonstrates exactly why you need to be at this conference:

The focus [of the CALI conference] was on new products, new capacities and capabilities, completely new tools that do things in ways that we never dreamed of. It was cool. . . . We learned about fantastic new cloud based products and services like DropBox and Buzzword, we learned about using technology in teaching, about new tools to help build better websites, like Aquila Drupal and about how to build electronic course supplement packages. We also learned about new online products coming from CCH, Westlaw, BNA and Hein that, potentially will make a difference in how we research.

The conference is an informal one where attendees and sponsors are always in close proximity. We don't exhile exhibitor tables in a separate show room and we take extra measures to ensure interactivity.

You will also find our attendees a tight-knit community, which actively shares their CALI Conference experiences through social media. There was an extremely active Twitter conversation at the 2009 conference. You can get an idea of exaclty what our conference-goers were tweeting in the word cloud below.

We offer more opportunities for sponsors to participate than any other legal education conference: from little things like full access to our meal and break food or attending sessions, to unique opportunities like the chance to hold a standard conference session about your products and services.

Because we host conferences at law schools and not big hotel show rooms, space is tight. Please contact Austin to reserve table space today: agroothuis@cali.org.
